Wants to know how to apply for MBA from IGNOU? Well like
many other distance learning courses, World's largest Open University
"Indra Gandhi National Open University" also offers distance learning
MBA course. The university takes admission into this program twice a year
through open MAT, which is an aptitude test conducted by the University to take
admission into it's various management courses.
As we've mentioned in one of our earlier post that Open MAT
is a mandatory aptitude test conducted by IGNOU for MBA aspirants wants to take
admission into MBA courses run by IGNOU. Those who have a valid score in
popular MBA entrance exams like CAT are not required to take up this test. If
you wish to join IGNOU MBA in 2013, you've to appear in Open MAT going to
conduct in July or August this year. To do the same you've to appear in Open
MAT XXXIV for which the last date to apply is July 15, 2013.
Apart from MBA program, IGNOU also run various diploma &certification courses in Management. You can take admission into those diploma
& certification courses by appearing into Open MAT 2013.
To take admission into IGNOU MBA, the candidate must have a
3 years graduation degree from a recognized university with at least 55 percent
of marks.
There is no age bar to take admission into IGNOU MBA. The
university has rights to accept or deny admission to any candidate. The cut off
percentage of students who has cleared entrance test like CAT, MAT or state
level entrance test will be decided by the university.
Students prospectus & handbook can be obtain from
registrar (SRD), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi New Delhi and from all the regional centers
of IGNOU by sending a DD/IPO of Rs.550 in favor of IGNOU payable at New Delhi
or by paying Rs.500 in cash at the respective sales counter.
Candidates who have successfully qualified the entrance exam
can submit the application form for admission into IGNOU MBA 2013 along with
required documents & fee to the respective regional center on any date
after the receipt of result card but not later than MAY 31, 2013 for admission
