The students who are up to take admission into the Subharti University Distance Education MBA programme have two different options, specifically specializations to choose from.- Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Dual Specialization – Information Technology, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Production & Operation Management, Financial Management.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Single Specialization – Hotel & Tourism Management, Telecom Management, Fashion, Pharmaceutical Marketing, Hospital Administration.
While the Subharti University education MBA programme may vary with the specialization but the eligibility criteria, duration, and fee structure remain the same for both the programmes.

- Eligibility Criteria – The student is eligible to take admission if he/she is graduated or has an equivalent certificate.
- Course Duration – Minimum (2 yrs including internship), Maximum (5 yrs)
- Fee Structure – The course fee for the MBA programme is Rs.17000/- per year making it the total amount of Rs.34,000/- for the complete course.

Admission into the Subharti University Distance Education MBA
Obtaining the Admission form or Prospectus
An individual can obtain the admission form in either of the two ways mentioned below
- The individual can obtain the admission form and the prospectus can be from the Directorate of Distance Education Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Subhartipuram, NH-58, Delhi Haridwar Bypass Road, Meerut or from the City office located at Lokpriya Hospital Complex, Samrat Palace, Garh Road, Meerut by making the payment of Rs.150/- in cash or by demand draft.
- The individual can alternatively obtain the same through post by sending the demand draft of Rs.200/- drawn in favor of “SVSU Distance Education” payable at Meerut along with the filled requisite proforma that is available at the www.subhartdde.com
Submission of Admission form
The individual is required to submit the admission form along with all the enclosures either personally or by post.
The enclosures must include the following
- Passport sized color photographs – 4 (2 to be pasted on application form, and 2 to be stapled)
- Photocopies of the documents – Marksheets, certificates of qualifying examination (with the college principal’s attestation)
- Equivalent certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (if the examination is qualified from a foreign university)
- Demand draft for the course fee drawn in favor of SVSU Distance Education payable at Meerut.
Admission Procedure
The application must be sent to the DDE or city office - Applicant’s eligibility - Admission is granted
- Acknowledgment of the fee receipt and - Admission form is issued- The University issues an identity card
- It must be preserved till the end of the course, in case of any loss of the student’s identity card the student will then required to pay Rs.100/- to issue the duplicate one.
- For the Master Degree Programmes like MCA and MBA, the University conducts the entrance examination twice a year, for which the students can obtain the details from the university’s website and the university alternatively also considers the score in any central or state level examination to grant the admission into the similar course.

Lateral Entry into the Subharti University Distance Education MBA
The DDE has adopted the Lateral entry policy which is applicable for MCA, M.Sc. (CA) and MBA courses only.
- The individual has to all the relevant documents attested by Gazette officer along with the lateral entry fee of Rs.1500/- additional charges of the qualifying exam which is Rs.500 per each additional paper.
- The eligibility criterion for the lateral entry is determined according to the subject/paper and as per the university norms.
- Note: The students are not allowed to take lateral admission from Distance to Regular mode.
The grading system in SVSU for MBA Programme
The final grading of the student is evaluated on the basis of the marks obtained in the examinations, internal assessments, and after substituting the marks obtained in the back papers if any.
Later, the overall the student’s grade is determined on a scale of six points as tabulated below.
