Sri Lankan Tamils Issue: Anna University 600+ Engineering Colleges Shut

Anna University
On Monday, Dated 19th March 2013, Anna University ordered indefinite closure of nearly 625 institutions affiliated to it. After this decision, a mix reaction is coming from the students. Some of them are supporting to the cause & some are appalled by the recent decision.

Now students are leaving the hostels, as it has been communicated to them to do so, and heading towards their home towns.  Exams also has been postponed for next month. We're expecting that the issue will be solve by the month end.

Social networking sites are also not untouched from this issue. Students are now posting about the issue on various social networking website like Facebook & Google plus.

As per the VC, Anna University, The decision has been taken for the security of the students but the teachers will continue to work & will complete their research work.

We've read on some popular website that students are saying that decision to shut the colleges is not wise, doing so will give more time to students to engage in protest. now students will get more time to indulge in protest & interacting with protesters on social networking sites and will get all the update about the same from there.

On the other hand teachers have their own story. Once the colleges will be reopen they have to speed up the  lectures to complete the syllabus & have to start the exams as soon as possible, which will lead to some additional burden on them.

We'll post more on this Sri Lankan Tamils Issue. As of now we don't have much information on the topic. We're worried about Anna University 600+ Engineering College students and their career. Hope every thing gonna be alright soon.
