SCDL Post Graduate Diploma in Retail Management (PGDRM)

Retail Sector has grown rapidly over the last few year in our country and currently it is one of the largest manpower consuming sectors in India.The post graduate diploma is a suitable course for a person who want to achieve something in retail sector or who has an own retail business or would like to become a retail professional at supervisory levels. Retailing is a big sector of the indian and our global economy.

  • The duration of the Post Graduate Diploma in Retail Management is one year.
  • The registration of the participant is valid for two years.

Eligibility Criteria For SCDL PGDRM

  • Student must be Graduate in any discipline, from a recognized University.
  • International/SAARC  students should be graduated from a recognized/accredited University/Institution.
  • The student who appearing in final year of graduation can also apply.

SCDL PGDRM Fee Structure

Below is the detailed fee structure for SCDL PGDRM.

Registration Fee (Non Refundable)
  • The registration fees must be paid along with the application form.
  • For Indian residential students, the fee is Rs.1000/-.
  • For International students the fee is Rs. 6500/- OR 100 USD.
  • For SAARC students, the fee is Rs.4875/- OR 75 USD.

PGDRM Programme Fee

Students have 2 option as mentioned below to pay fee:

1) Option A-  students has to pay the full course fees in one time.
  •  General: Rs. 18,000/-
  •  Active Defence / Paramilitary / Police: Rs. 15,500/-
  •  SAARC Students: USD  600 or Rs.39,000/-
  •  International Students: USD  1,200 or Rs. 78,000/-
2) Option B-  students has to pay the full course fees in two installments.

Mode Of Payment
  • Payment can be made in cash, online or via demand draft.
  • Cash payment is acceptable only at SYMBIOSIS CENTRE FOR DISTANCE LEARNING PUNE campus.
  • DD can be submitted at SYMSIOSIS CENTRE FOR DISTANCE LEARNING PUNE campus. The Demand Draft needs to favour of "The Director, SCDL, Pune" payable at Pune only.

How to Apply For SCDL PGDRM

There are three steps to enroll at symbiosis centre for distance learning:

Step 1:

Student has to purchase a prospectus cum application form for Rs.1200/- from symbiosis centre for distance learning PUNE campus.


You can fill up the form online RS.1100/- by GO GREEN option or purchase it from selected AXIS bank.


Student can also get hard copy for RS. 1300/- by post.

STEP 2)-
  • Now students has to submit the application form along with required documents i.e. attested copies of all academic documents, work experience documents(if any), 2 passport size photographs and a registration fees of Rs. 1000/-.
  • Student can send all required documents with registration fees at symbiosis centre of distance learning Pune campus by courier.
STEP 3)-
  • Student can submit full course fees in one time or can submit it in two installment.
  • If student want to submit fees via DEMAND DRAFT then students can send it to PUNE Campus and Demand Draft should be in favour of 'The Director, SCDL Pune'.
