British Council English Language MOOC To Be Launched in India

British Council is all set to launch it's first Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) in English Language in partnership with FutureLearn. FutureLearn, which is UK's first-led in MOOC, will provide a platform to British Council for it's first venture into free, online, higher education studies. Using the FutureLearn platform, British Council will be able to deliver web based program in English Language to students across India.

The content of the program will be created & developed by British Council. Students will be able to join this program from 2014.
British Council and FutureLearn are collaborated to create a documented English language MOOCs, and to offer a path to be able to appear in International English Language Testing System (IELTS) assessments at testing centres of British Council.
This system seems to be very helpful for students wants to appear in IELTS. Now using the course they will be able to judge their command over English language. IELTS is one of the most popular program among people wish to migrate or wants to study abroad. The program will be very helpful to students seeking admission in higher education courses in UK.

The British Council will work closely with FutureLearn and its university partners and will expand the English language learning facilities and support to students in the country.

India will be the first country for British Council where they've launched this kind of course. British Council is looking forward for the big success of this initiative. Now people can easily qualify to migrate to UK with the help of this program.
